Preparing for delivery of your Hypnos Bed & Mattress

Please take time to read this important article as suitable access to your home is the responsibilty of the customer. It is important to prepare your home for the team delivering your new Hypnos bed, mattress or headboard. How to prepare your home for delivery.

Hypnos Beds & mattresses Delivery Service

Hypnos Delivery Flow

It is solely the customers responsibility to ensure purchased items will fit into their property. The customer must check the measurements of doorways, corridors and stairways to ensure the order will fit.

  • Once the customers goods are in the warehouse they will be contacted to arrange delivery and find out any special instructions.
  • Once delivery day is confirmed confirmation email is sent to the customer with all the relevant terms and conditions and a link to the tracking URL.

Changing a Confirmed Deliver Day

If you have confirmed a delivery date with and need to change it, you must give a minimum of 24 hours notice overwise you will be charged for the new delivery. You will be charged as the order has already been booked, allocated to a planned route and the products were being prepared by the warehouse to be loaded as per routing.

Items Picked and Loaded

  • The night before the planned delivery we pick, scan and load the item onto the van.
  • An alert is sent to the customer advising that the item is loaded with the details of the crew and their contact numbers.

On Route

  • The customer is contacted by the crew (after 8am) to confirm delivery time (2-hour Window) and discuss any specific requirements
  • Crew continually contact the customers to update on progress and routinely after the previous delivery

Arrive at Customers Home

  • On arrival we walk the route to the room of choice and discuss any issues with the customer to avoid any potential damage
  • If route is challenging, there may be a need to ask for a disclaimer to be signed

Complete Delivery

  • We put on overshoes and white gloves and carefully place the item completing any agreed construction
  • Delivery includes removal of packaging and assembly. Disposal of old bed is available if booked at the time of order.
  • We remove all packaging and ensure customer is delighted with the service before they sign to confirm delivery and that our liability ends.

The same process is followed for headboard orders. However headboard only orders attract a delivery charge if under £399. If a headboard is ordered at the same time as a Hypnos mattress or bed it will be delivered free.

Please note we do not deliver off shore. Should you require a delivery to one of the islands contact us for a price.

Failed Delivery

In the event of a delivery being booked and the delivery fails, the charge of the second delivery attempt and subsequent deliveries thereafter will be down to the customer. We will not attempt additional deliveries until payment has been made. The cost of the deliveries varies from area to area but can cost up to £180 to the Scottish Highlands.

Zone 1 & 2

Free delivery to all areas in Zone 1 & 2

Zone 3

Where possible we will deliver to Zone 3 free. Depending on the size of the order, we reserve the right to impose a delivery surcharge to Zone 3 postcodes. This will not always be the case, but if we need to we will contact you to discuss beofre processing the order. The postcodes that might incur a surcharge are IV14 and above, PA20 and above and PH33 and above.

We are unable to deliver Hypnos beds and mattresses to Northern ireland & Eire.
