We have a king size Hypnos Orthocare Sublime mattress in a firm tension set up on a platform top divan base.

The Hypnos Orthocare Sublime mattress is part of a 3 mattress collection, which are all no turn. They are all similar in looks using the same unbleached cotton and linen chemical free cover complete with the natural specks of cotton seeds. This sleep surface along with the natural fillings are designed to help keep cool and dry at night. This responsibly sourced mattress cover is naturally flame retardant and feels soft to the touch. Hypnos are members of the Better Cotton Initiative, investing in making cotton production more sustainable. The cotton in this mattress cover is sourced via the Better Cotton Initiative mass balance system.

The Orthocare Sublime mattress provides the ultimate comfort with firm body support. A generous cushioning layer of luxurious and sustainable Tencel and bamboo provid and enhanced level of luxury. This coupled with organic cotton, flax and wool help keep sleepers cool at night. A further 3kgs of British wool are used to provide the utmost comfort.

The Hypnos Orthocare Sublime looks a very inviting bed to lie on. It's bulging with natural fillings, not necessarily the look of a firm ortho mattress. With 3 rows of side stitching the mattress border holds its shape well when I sit on it. The firm springs give good support and I don’t sink into the mattress. Lying back, I immediately know this is a mattress I would be very happy to sleep on. The deep layers of upholstery fill all the voids my body creates and offer great comfort. You can feel the support of the ReActive™ 8-turn pocket springs. It’s easy to roll onto my side and again this is an extremely comfortable position. The 3kgs of British wool provide comfort, particularly on the pressure points, namely shoulders, hips and ankles. What does surprise me is the comfort when lying on my front. Again, the upholstery is doing its job. This is a truly comfortable mattress for someone of my size (6’5” & 17 stone).
