The Hypnos Pillow Top Luxe bed is a top of the range pillow top. It is paired with a open coil sprung firm edge divan base, which gives the mattress a more luxurious gentler feel.

This single sided no turn Hypnos Pillow Top Luxe mattress comprises:

• 600g Solotex™
• 3.6kg Wool
• 1500 Adaptiv™ springs
• 3kg Himalayan Allo, Kapok & Cotton 
• Talay latex
• 1200 ReActivePro™ 6 turn pocket springs
• 2.25kg eOlus™ support pad
• Triple edge protection - the three outer rows of pocket springs that run down the side of the mattress use a firmer gauge wire so you are supported right to the edge of the mattress
• Flat perimeter wire for additional side support

The Hypnos Pillow Top Luxe mattress stands out in our showroom against the other Hypnos pillow top mattresses. It is a deeper more imposing mattress. Sitting on the bed the edge is reasonably supportive. Being a deep sumptuous mattress on a firm edge sprung base I do sink down a little. However, the mattress immediately regains its shape when I lye down. The firmer springs along the side of the mattress and the 3 rows of hand side stitching give the support they are supposed to provide.

As I lie back on the mattress I feel the deep pillow top fills all the voids in my back. It is extremely comfortable with the layers of upholstery providing the perfect comfort. I sink into the mattress and then can feel the support of the ReActivePro™ 6 turn pocket springs. I feel like I could lie in this position forever.

Moving onto my side, the deep pillow top layers provide the comfort needed on the pressure points of my body - shoulders, hips and ankles. As I move around the pillow top keeps its shape nicley. Again, once sniggled into position I can feel the pocket spring giving me support. Moving onto my front, this is definately a mattress for those that prefer this sleeping position. Whichever way I lie and in whatever position, this is one comfortable mattress. When I get up off the bed, the Adaptiv™ springs in the pillow top do their job as the shape immediately returns to the surface of the mattress.

I also tried this mattress on a platform top divan base which gives a firmer feel. Although I love the feel of the bed with the sprung base, I feel the platform top base gave me a little more support particularly when lying on my back. Being 6'52 and 17 stone I felt more supported and found it easier to move around on.
