Delivery of your SleepSoul Mattress

SleepSoul mattresses will be delivered on a next day basis if ordered before 1.00pm Monday to Thursday. orders place before 1.00pm on a Friday will be delivered on Monday. orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be delivered Tuesday. The service will be carried our by DX. There may be a surcharge for deliveries to Zone 3, but we would notify you before processing the order. We do not deliver SleepSoul mattresses to Northern Ireland.

Delivery of your Birlea Beds & Bedroom Furniture

Birlea furniture operates a Direct Home Delivery Service and undertakes to deliver all orders within 7 – 14 working days depending on stock availability at the time of ordering.

Birlea Home Delivery Team

All Birlea beds on the direct home delivery service will be booked in directly with the customer by the Birlea home delivery department, and we aim to give as much notice as possible with 3 days being the minimum. The customer will be contacted by phone and will be advised of a delivery date with an all-day slot of 8AM – 4PM. We also offer the facility to call the customer an hour to half an hour before delivery is due if this is required. However, this service must be request by email when placing the order. To protect the safety your customer’s goods, it is compulsory all deliveries are to be signed for. If for any reason the customer is not at the delivery address within the time slot confirmed, our driver may, for your convenience, attempt to leave the parcel with a neighbor to avoid disappointment. However, we cannot leave the item in a safe place e.g. garages, sheds or porches.

Birleas Improved Home Delivery Service

As of 22nd February 2021 Birlea Furniture have invested in new, state of the art Transport Tracking and Proof of Delivery software. As well as going paperless, we are also able to offer text messaging and email delivery updates, as well as real-time tracking information. The benefits of our new software include:

Real-Time Vehicle Tracking

Customers are able to see what drop number they are, an estimated delivery time and the exact location of their parcel.

Real-Time Delivery Updates

As well as live tracking links, our software will send a text message and an email to the customer when they are the driver's next delivery drop.

Cutting Edge POD Technology

Our driver will capture the customer's signature via their handheld device. Better still, if the customer has a smart phone, they can do this contactless by scanning our driver's QR code.

It's All Paperless

All delivery details, including GPS location, the date and time, and the customer's signature along with a photograph of the goods that were delivered are stored directly on the electronic POD. Home Delivery Service

Tuffnells

Birlea's preferred third party carrier is Tuffnells who provide selected routes and out of area deliveries. Customers will be contacted by our home delivery team to arrange a convenient date for delivery Mon-Fri. Items will be managed by 1 man or 2 man process dependent on the weight and cube of the item being delivered. 1 man items will be delivered kerb side and 2 man items into room of choice*. Customers will be contacted via phone or text by DX with a confirmation of the delivery and a time slot.

Deliveries are not available offshore.

Free delivery to all areas in Zone 1 - England & Wales

Zone 2

There is a surcharge of £40 per delivery to postcodes in this area.

Zone 3

There is a surcharge of £75 per delivery to postcodes in this area.

We do not deliver Birlea beds to Northern Ireland.
