Serene Furnishings Direct Home Delivery Service

Serene Furnishings will generally operate deliveries for their products as this will speed up delivery lead times to our customers.

Any Serene beds ordered for delivery for Northern Scotland are subject to an additional delivery charge. Please see Zone 4 below.

Serene Furnishings Service

A Direct Home Delivery Service is offered for Serene beds and they undertake to deliver most orders within 3–5 working days depending on stock availability at the time of ordering.

All orders with the exception of 75cm, 90cm & 120cm headboards will be booked in direct with our customers by the Serene home delivery department with as much notice as possible. The minimum being 2 days. Customers will be contacted via telephone and will be advised of a 3 hour time slot. On the day you will receive a pre delivery call.

The two man delivery service carried out by EU Fleet 0121 573 0320 (Monday - Friday) is to the customer’s front door only and does not include any unpacking, assembly or removal of packaging.

75cm, 90cm & 120cm headboards will be delivered by Parcelforce on a next day service if ordered before 11.00am

Please note that Serene bedsteads are delivered in FLATPACK form for ease of handling and to prevent damage to the products when taking them upstairs.

Beds Damaged in Transit

Please be aware that when the carrier delivers your goods, you should inspect them, particularly if the box has been damaged. The driver by law has to wait. If you or the recipient does not have the time to inspect the goods, please sign and state ‘not examined’. Do not let the driver sign on your behalf. If they use covid as an excuse take a picture of the driver with the box. In the worst-case scenario, reject the delivery. Due to the carriers terms and conditions if the box is damaged and not signed for as damaged on delivery, then they are not liable and we will not be able to replace the goods.

In the event of the parcels arriving damaged and the contents are damaged, we recommend you refuse the delivery and do not sign. Email us and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent.

If, when you open the boxes there are damaged parts, please email us pictures and we will arrange for the faulty items to be replaced.

Zone 1 & 2

Free delivery of Serene beds to all areas in Zone 1 & 2 which includes London. Delivery is typically within 5 working days

Zone 3

Free delivery of Serene beds to all areas in Zone 3 postcodes. Delivery is typically within 7 working days

Zone 4

There is a surcharge of £40 per item. Follow the link for payment. Allow up to 10 working days for delivery.

Zone 5

There is a surcharge of £40 per item. Follow the link for payment. Allow up to 10 working days for delivery.

London Congestion Charge Zone

We receive a surcharge for deliveries to the centre of London. We try to deliver free of charge, but in the case of a small value order we may need to review that. If we need to make an additional charge we will contact you first.

We do not deliver Serene beds to: Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Channel Isles, Northern Ireland & Eire.

Delivery address

Please ensure the correct address is entered at the time of placing an order as the carriers rely on the post codes given to make delivery.
