For 2009 Dunlopillo has a new focus with the range now featuring only 100% Talalay latex core beds. They introduced Celsion technology in their top three models; a patented technology that helps maintain a consistent body temperature throughout the night. The rest of the range has been updated with all models now featuring Coolmax ticks.

The biggest news from the Myer’s 2009 collection is the introduction of a range of pocket spring beds, launched in response to customer demand. The Myer’s Pocket range features eight beds with 1000 to 1400 pocket springs and different fillings including traditional cotton and wool as well as memory foam and latex.

The Slumberland range for 2009 has grown considerably. As well as the ever successful memory foam and pocket spring range Slumberland launched a latex and pocket spring collection featuring Talalay latex and zoned pocket springs to offer instant support where it is needed most. They also updated the Bronze, Silver and Gold Seals with new ticks which now feature pocket springs. For their entry level models the new spring system PostureFlex offered really good value for money. Featuring traditional fillings as well as memory foam these foam encapsulated beds give great support and comfort.

With the launch of the Myer's Pocket Sprung Beds, Staples has returned to it's heritage with a completely new range of beds and mattresses with spring counts ranging from 1600 to 4000. All of the beds and mattresses feature traditional fillings such as cotton, wool, silk, hair and cashmere as well as hand side stitching. The beds and mattresses are all finished in high quality Belgian damasks in traditional designs.
