Q. Bed Sizes

A. Standard UK bed sizes are as follows. However not all manufacturers make all size options. 

  • 2’6” x 6’3” (075cm x 190cm) Small Single
  • 3’0” x 6’3” (090cm x 190cm) Single
  • 4’0” x 6’3” (120cm x 190cm) Small Double
  • 4’6” x 6’3” (135cm x 190cm) Double
  • 5’0” x 6’6” (150cm x 200cm) Kingsize
  • 6’0” x 6’6” (180cm x 200cm) Super Kingsize

  • Pocket Spring System - Indicates the bed uses pocket springs

Q. Do we deliver to your address?

A. We deliver to most postal areas in the UK, including the Scottish Highlands. In some cases we can also arrange delivery to Northern Ireland and Eire, subject to a surcharge. For these deliveries please contact us for the additional charge.We do not deliver to the Scottish Islands , Isle of Wight, The Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly and the Isle of Man or other countries outside of the UK.

Q. Is my delivery left at the front door?

A. The service level depends on the products ordered and the carriers used. Generally our delivery team will deliver your purchase to the room of your choice, subject to there being suitable access. Please remember it is the customers responsibility to ensure that there is suitable access. However where we use TNT, DPS, Parcel Force and similar carriers, there service is often to the front door only.

Q. What if I'm not in when you deliver?

A. Deliveries will usually be made on Mondays to Fridays between 7.30am and 8.00pm. We will make up to 2 attempts to affect a successful delivery. If we are unsuccessful on the third attempt there will be a charge of £50.00 levied for a further delivery.

Q. How long will I have to wait for my goods?

A. Generally we aim to deliver all beds, mattresses and headboards to you within 20 working days. If there is a problem we will contact you to advise you accordingly. In the case of bed linens we would hope this would be within 10 working days.

Q. What happens if the wrong goods are delivered to me?

A. Contact us and we will either arrange a convenient time to collect the goods and exchange them for you or ask you to return them to us. In this case we will refund the cost of the return.

Q. What happens if my goods are faulty?

A, Contact us and we will either arrange a convenient time to collect the faulty items and exchange them for you or ask you to return them. In this case we will refund the cost of the return.

Q. Will my bed be assembled?

A. We are only able to assemble divan beds that are delivered from our Southern Warehouse in Sussex. If in doubt, please contact us for details of the delivery area. In all cases, we will endeavour to deliver the goods to the room of your choice. Bedsteads and bedframes will not be assembled.

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

A. Through our secure payment server PayPoint we can accept debit cards, mastercard, and visa. We also accept payment via PayPal. Alternatively, you can post us a cheque payable to Stephen Vokins Ltd, or call us to arrange a bacs payment.
