Breasley Guarantee & Warranty
1. Use of products
1.1 You agree only to use the products for their normal and proper use and not to alter or modify or otherwise interfere with them
1.2 You agree to follow the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the products and not to use the products in a careless or negligent manner.
2.1 If the product is damaged on delivery, we will replace or repair free of charge providing the carrier is aware that they have damaged the goods. You shall be responsible for the repair or replacement of the goods if the goods have been signed for and are damaged.
2.2 If you find your products to be faulty or damaged when opened, you must report the complaint within 48 hours and the goods will be exchanged or repaired within 14 days of delivery. In such circumstances, provided that the product(s) are adequately wrapped, we will meet all delivery and
return costs. Bags can be provided by us to ensure the product is returned to us in good condition. If the product is not returned in reasonable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.
3.1 The guarantee on the removable cover is 1 year and the mattress core 5 year. For Uno mattresses there is a 10 year guarantee for the core.
3.2 The guarantee on the 6 cm overlay is 1 year
3.3 The guarantee covers physical defects or changes that cause a visible indentation of more than 2 cm
3.4 The guarantee does not cover normal changes in hardness of the memory foam, nor does it cover light discoloration of polyurethane foams or any dislike of the inherent smell of memory foam.
3.5 The guarantee is valid only if the Breasley Product is used and handled as described in these instructions for use and unpacked within 9 months from the date of manufacture.
3.6 If a claim is made under the guarantee, you must present the original invoice or sales receipt as proof of your purchase
Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 - The Right To Cancel
Customers should note that under Section 13 1 c of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, they do not have the right to cancel beds that have been specially ordered to their specific specification.
This applies to beds with multiple variants, where the bed has been manufactured specifically for the customer. For example where there is a choice of mattress spring tensions and divan base fabrics. This ruling will generally apply to Sealy beds ordered.
It is for this reason that each Sealy bed or mattress specifically ordered to the customer’s specification is not available from stock and is made to order, hence the general lead time of 4-5 weeks.
Your statutory rights are not affected in the event of faulty merchandise.
