Julian Bowen Direct Home Delivery Service

Julian Bowen will generally operate deliveries for their products as this will speed up delivery lead times to our customers.

Service: We undertake to deliver all orders received to your final customers within 7-10 days, providing that the relevant items are in stock, according to our stock availability list.

Booking In: The majority of orders are booked in with the customer no less than 2 days prior to the delivery and a message will be left if the customer does not answer if there is a facility to leave a message. If the customer refuses the delivery we will reschedule for the next time we are in the area. Please note that refusal may cause the delivery tp extend beyond the 7-10 working day period. Customers will be given a time slot of either am (7.00am to 12 noon) or pm (12 noon to 6.00pm) Monday to Friday, but excluding Bank Holidays so that they do not have to wait in all day. We will require 2 forms of contact details for the customer, i.e. mobile number, home number and or email address

Communications: All orders delivered by our Direct Home Delivery service will have the signed POD Confirmation attached to the relevant invoices.

Conditions: The Two Man service will be “Room of Choice”. However, this will not involve any unpacking, on-site assembly or removal of packaging. If the delivey team feels that damages to the product or premises or injury to themselves or other may occur through delivery to a specific room, they will leave the goods in a safe and convenient place.

Beds Damaged in Transit

Please be aware that when the carrier delivers your goods, you should inspect them, particularly if the box has been damaged. The driver by law has to wait. If you or the recipient does not have the time to inspect the goods, please sign and state ‘not examined’. Do not let the driver sign on your behalf. If they use covid as an excuse take a picture of the driver with the box. In the worst-case scenario, reject the delivery. Due to the carriers terms and conditions if the box is damaged and not signed for as damaged on delivery, then they are not liable and we will not be able to replace the goods.

In the event of the parcels arriving damaged and the contents are damaged, we recommend you refuse the delivery and do not sign. Email us and we will arrange for a replacement to be sent.

If, when you open the boxes there are damaged parts, please email us pictures and we will arrange for the faulty items to be replaced.

Zone 1

Deliveries to Zone 1 should generally be carried out within the 7-10 working day time frame.

Zone 2

Deliveries to Zone 2 should generally be carried out within 10-14 working day time frame. However, this might on occassions be slightly extended

Zone 3

There is surcharge of £25 for delivery of up to 5 cartons, not products. To add charge to the basket follow this link. We are sometimes unable to effectively delivery products on the 10-14 day agreed lead time to these areas. The infrequency of our logistics into these areas means that we will have to extend our delivery lead times in order to maximize the efficiency of our fleet logistics. This applies to the following postcode areas:-

PA – Paisley*   FK – Falkirk
KY – Kirkaldy   PH – Perth
DD – Dundee  AB – Aberdeen
IV – Inverness  KW – Kirkwall

*PA1-19 only. For delivery to PA20 and above and some far reaching highland locations, please contact us

All delivery lead times on customer orders into all areas North of Aberdeen will need to be agreed by the Julian Bowen Direct Home Delivery Team.

In some cases it may be necessary for us to implement a surcharge for Scottish deliveries. We hope that we can usually adsorb these costs, but on the occasions we can't, we will contact you before processing the order.

Offshore Isles: Our Home Delivery Service is limited to UK Mainland only.
