We have been advised that Steinhoff have given their direct home delivery contract to Network 4.Currently the service will apply to Myers, Slumberland and Staples beds, mattresses and headboards.
This is great news for Big Brand Beds as we have used Jayson Barrett’s company for the past 12 years to operate all our deliveries and warehousing. To think it all started with a warehouse in Portslade, Sussex.
Network 4 will offer two levels of service, Silver and Platinum for deliveries on Myers, Slumberland and Staples orders.
Silver Service is delivery to room of choice and set up of the product
Platinum Service is delivery to room of choice, set up of the product plus disposal of the consumers old product.
Network 4 offer a service whereby the consumer is sent an SMS within 30 seconds of Steinhoff up loading the details onto their system, allowing the customer around 2 weeks notice before delivery will take place. Their system will allow Steinhoff to follow the product every step of the way once the product has left our factory plus view all of the notes from the booking and any telephone conversation that may have taken place with the consumer.
- On arrival with the consumer, the Network 4 team will assess the consumers home, making sure they have the required space to complete the delivery into their home.
- Once the product has been set up, the team will take photos of the product set up in the consumers room of choice, confirming that the product is okay.
- Their hand held devices will not allow them to move on until the photos have been uploaded and the consumer has completed a few questions regarding the service provided. This information will be available to view instantly to Steinhoff and the photos available at request.
- A proof of delivery (POD) will be available to view after the delivery, allowing Steinhoff to see that the delivery has been made successfully and who has signed for it.
This upgraded service will incur additional costs for us, but we know that it’ll be worth it. Afterall Big Brand Beds wouldn’t have been using them for so long if the service wasn’t up to scratch.
